DSA Mobilizers connect members of the Richmond DSA to its projects. Each mobilizer is assigned to ten members of the local chapter, with a special focus on new members. Mobilizers act as a point of contact between members and the leaders of the chapter and its projects. They orient new members to the chapter and connect them to committee, working group, and project leaders and answer questions about socialism and the DSA, while identifying membership needs for training, political education, and social events. Mobilizers learn about communicate the political interests and needs of their members.
The Richmond DSA Mobilizer Program currently has five mobilizers connecting a total of fifty members, while the current secretary acts as an Interim Mobilization Coordinator. Mobilizer training occurs quarterly. If you would like to join the Mobilizer Program, contact us now.
